2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When the site is accessed, Vercel processes technically necessary data (see server log files). This may involve a transfer to the USA, which is safeguarded by the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). The legal basis is my legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Server log files
When the site is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data serves security and technical operation and is not merged with other data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Appointment booking (Cal.com)
For booking appointments I use the external service Cal.com, operated by Cal.com, Inc. (USA). If you click a booking link, you are redirected to a page operated by Cal.com; the data you enter there (e.g. name, email address, requested time) is processed by Cal.com as an independent controller. Cal.com’s privacy policy applies. The booking service is only loaded once you follow the link.
5. Contact by email
If you email me, I process your details (email address, name, message content) solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Reach measurement (Matomo Cloud)
This website uses Matomo Cloud for reach measurement, operated by InnoCraft Ltd., 7 Waterloo Quay, PO Box 625, Wellington 6140, New Zealand. When a page is accessed, data such as the requested URL, referrer, device type, browser and a truncated IP address is processed. Matomo may set cookies (in particular _pk_id and _pk_ses). Processing takes place on Matomo Cloud servers. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing website use to improve the offering). 7. Session analysis (Microsoft Clarity)
This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Clarity records usage behaviour (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, page views) and turns it into session replays and heatmaps. The data processed includes device type, screen size, browser, operating system, referrer, the requested URL and a truncated IP address. Clarity sets cookies (in particular _clck and _clsk). Input in form fields is masked by Clarity by default and is not recorded in plain text. The data may be processed on Microsoft servers in the United States; the transfer is based on the EU standard contractual clauses and Microsoft's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 8. Reach measurement (Plausible Analytics)
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a service provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. Plausible measures reach without cookies and without cross-device recognition. It collects aggregated information such as the page visited, referrer, device type, browser, operating system and country of origin. No personal data is stored and no usage profiles are created; the data is processed on servers in the European Union.
